The New Year will bring a new era in healthcare for Bonaire. On 1 january 2011 all current medical insurance plans covering workers,
government employees and the private sector will cease to exist. These plans will be replaced by a compulsory health insurance program for
all residents of Bonaire, Saba and St. Eustatius to be known as Zorgverzekering Caribisch Nederland ( Dutch Caribbean Healthcare Insurance).
The Zorgverzekering Caribish Nederland is a comprehensive general health insurance plan. Nonetheless there will be limitations that may be
covered by supplemental medical insurance. We have years of experiance working cooperatively with medical insurers Fatum and Ennia so can provide
sound and detailed advice regarding options for enhancing the compulsory plan.
