What is MCB Group Direct?

MCB Group Direct is a Commercial Internet Banking system, designed to be used by all type of businesses and organizations. MCB Group Direct is available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and accessible from all over the world.

What can you do with MCBGroupDirect?
  • Account information:
    View balances of all types of accounts held at our bank. These balances are updated throughout the day.
    Retrieve current account statements electronically at the start of each business day.
    Search for transactions up to 90 days old, and download transaction history in an industry standard format.
  • Account transfers:
    Transfer funds between one's own accounts.
  • Third party payments:
    Pay anyone with an account at MCB, other local banks, MCB subsidiaries on the other islands.
    These payments can be either single transactions or batch transactions.
    International payments can be done by using the SWIFT transfers provided on MCB Group Direct.

  • File transmissions:
    Files generated in other applications like payrolls and accounts payables can be sent to the bank for processing. Beneficiaries can have accounts at MCB, other local banks or MCB subsidiaries.

  • Bank Services:
    Request a stop payment on a cheque in case of loss or theft, or order a new cheque-book when needed.

What are the requirements for using MCB Group Direct

Basically all you need is a computer with an internet connection from one of the local Internet Service Providers, and of course a browser.

We recommend these basic requirements:

How secure is MCB Group Direct?

We guarantee full proof security with the use of MCB Group Direct, by providing the following features.

  • Authentication and encryption trough use of Soft Tokens
    MCB issues a Soft Token to every user of MCB Group Direct. This is a special permission to get access to the MCB Group Direct website. Log-on to MCB Group Direct is only possible with the Soft Token.
    We provide you with your own private key to enter our branch on the web.
  • Use of a secured server
    ​The MCB Group Direct application is located on a server in a secured environment at the bank. This secured environment provides the user a one to one connection with the bank, while being on the internet.
  • Managed password features
    Each user of MCB Group Direct gets his/her own user-id and password, to which the rights of the user are tied. Information of all users is stored on the bank's server. Whenever changes have to be made on a user's rights, this has to be requested to the MCB Group Direct administrator at the bank. This ensures that all users and rights are carefully documented and accounted for.
  • Segregation of duties
    Segregation of duties can be applied according to organizational structure of the company. Amount limits can be applied to both creation and authorization of transactions, at user level.
  • Activity log
    All transactions done trough MCB Group Direct are recorded in an activity log, with date, transaction type, amount, confirmation code and user name. At any time managers can check which transactions were done by whom.
