Supporting Events and Causes That Strengthen Our Community

At MCB, we believe in the power of community, collaboration, creativity, and shared experiences. With a focus on our island’s youth and senior elders, we support initiatives that bring people together, promote solidarity, celebrate culture, encourage learning, support vulnerable citizens, spark innovation, and promote the well-being of our community.

Our donations and sponsorships are guided by our commitment to sustainability and community empowerment. We partner with organizations and events that align with our values, contribute to the development of the Caribbean Netherlands, and create positive impact for current and future generations.

From educational programs and cultural celebrations to sports, entrepreneurship, and environmental initiatives our goal is to uplift our communities and help meaningful ideas grow.

What projects are eligible for donations or sponsorship?

In general, projects that contribute to the well-being of our communities in the Caribbean Netherlands (BES).

For example, projects or events that contribute to the general development of especially our youth and the most vulnerable members of our society, such as sports, digital and financial literacy, artistic expression, and educational programs. MCB also supports initiatives that strengthen our cultural identity, such as traditional celebrations, and those that work for the preservation of nature and sustainability.

Who is eligible for donations?

Non-profit Organizations (NGO’s) and Foundations registered at the Chambers of Commerce of Bonaire, St. Eustatius or Saba, and in good standing.
Adult individuals, residing in the Caribbean Netherlands (BES). Individuals younger than 18 years require permission (co-signing) of a parent or guardian.

Our procedure

What happens after you request a donation or sponsorship?

Your application is evaluated according to the Bank’s policy.
We conduct background and risk checks.
If background and risks are OK, a committee reviews the application.
You will be informed of the outcome within 21 days.

MCB has always been a vital part of the community, deeply ingrained in its growth and well-being.
